The Eminence Maverick (along with it’s British voiced counterpart – the Reignmaker) is an example of a unique technology not found in any other guitar speaker that I’ve seen. On the back of the speaker is a large dial that, when turned, adjusts the distance between the speaker’s magnet and voice coil, bringing it’s sensitivity (or loudness) from 100dB, down to a more manageable 91.5dB, effectively cutting the volume from your cranked amp in half.
